PATIENT INFORMATION & POLICIES
We encourage those who have a primary care provider, health insurance, and/or prescription benefits to use the resources already available to them. Those who have adequate resources will likely be referred back to their usual providers.

*Please note, there are certain items we are unable to provide free of charge if you have health care insurance.

We are a free clinic.
Crossroads Medical Mission does not charge for the services we provide.
Walk-in policy.
We accept walk-in patients at every daytime site as time allows. We reserve the right to turn walk-in patients away if our capacity or resources are exceeded.
Controlled substance policy.
We do not prescribe controlled substances (narcotics, tranquilizers, etc.) as a general rule. We do not carry any controlled substances with us.
Make an appointment or walk in.
Patients with appointments are given priority over walk-in patients, though not over emergencies.
Reschedule & no show policy.
If you know that you are unable to make your appointment, we ask that you call the office as soon as possible to reschedule so that others may schedule. Patients that no call/no show or reschedule the day of 3 times will be placed on a walk-in only policy.
Why we ask about your financial status.
We may ask about your financial status. We do not charge for our services, nor do we bill insurances. However, we expect that patients will provide accurate information and disclose any health insurance. We must provide such information if any lab testing is performed.
Abuse policy.
We will not tolerate any abuse towards our staff, volunteers, or referring providers by patients or their family members, whether it be in person, on the phone, or by any other means. We reserve the right to not see such patients.
